Is your business working harder than it needs to?
I find the friction.
I fix it.
Then everyone breathes again.

You're good at what you do.
But somewhere along the way, things got complicated.
Maybe your team wastes hours re-creating work that already exists. Maybe your admin takes twice as long as it should. Maybe you know something isn't working but you're too close to it to see exactly what.
I've spent over 30 years running operations across some of the UK's most demanding environments — from multi-million pound facilities contracts to scaling tech startups to building my own businesses from scratch. In every single one, I did the same thing: I found the quickest, cleanest route from chaos to calm.
That's where I come in.
Not because I'm a workaholic. Quite the opposite.
I am, by my own admission, motivated by efficiency — because life is too short to do things the hard way. I work hard once, so everything runs smoothly forever. That instinct is now available to your business.
The Friction Audit
Find what you can't see.
Sometimes you need someone who isn't you to walk through your business and say "there — that's the problem." I've been doing that my whole career. I'm very good at it.
In a single focused session, I dig into your biggest bottleneck — the one you know is there but can't quite pin down — and hand you a clear, written breakdown of what's actually going wrong and where to start fixing it.
Format: 3-hour deep dive, remote or in person · Deliverable: a written findings report · Investment: £500
The Steady Hand
Keep it running, not reinventing.
Not every business needs a big overhaul — sometimes you just need someone senior keeping an eye on things, catching small problems before they become big ones, and making sure nothing quietly slides back into chaos.
This is ongoing, light-touch support: a standing check-in on your processes, your admin, your supplier relationships, or whatever's currently eating your headspace — without the cost or commitment of hiring someone full-time.
Format: up to 4 hours per month, scheduled around your business · Deliverable: ongoing support & a short monthly summary of what's been sorted · Investment: £450/month
The Process Reset
Untangle your processes.
If your processes have grown like weeds — patched, improvised, and nobody quite knows why — I'll map them, strip them back, and rebuild them so they actually make sense.
Over two weeks, I trace how work really flows through your business (not how the org chart says it should), identify where it's breaking down, and hand you rebuilt processes with clear ownership — so your team stops reinventing the wheel every time something goes wrong.
Format: 2-week engagement · Deliverable: mapped + rebuilt processes, ready to use · Investment: £3,000
The Calm System Build
Design stress-free systems.
From customer journeys to internal communications, I create structures that reduce friction for your team and your clients. Things should feel easy. If they don't, something's wrong.
This is where we go beyond fixing what's broken and build what should have been there from the start — a customer journey, a communication flow, an onboarding system — designed properly, once, so it runs itself from here on.
Format: scoped project, timeline depends on system · Deliverable: a working system + a simple guide your team can follow · Investment: from £3,500
Not sure where to start? Most people begin with the Friction Audit — a low-commitment way to see how I work and get real value fast. From there, some clients move into the Steady Hand, ongoing light support to keep things running smoothly. Others go straight into a Process Reset or Calm System Build when there's a bigger job that needs doing properly, once. Wherever you start, we'll figure out together what your business actually needs — no upselling, just the right amount of help.
What I Do
When everything kept changing, I kept the doors open.
I spent six months gutting and rebuilding the building before Baskerville's could open — and four weeks after we finally did, COVID hit. The rules didn't just change once, they kept changing. Capacity limits, service formats, opening hours, all shifting with almost no notice, sometimes week to week.
I stripped the business back to what actually mattered and rebuilt around it, fast, every time the ground moved. I stayed close to the team, because in a crisis people need to see you in it with them, not managing it from a distance. And I held onto client relationships and event bookings through a period when most businesses were losing them, by staying reachable and adapting rather than cancelling.
Nearly five years later, when I chose to move on in 2024, Baskerville's was still standing — still recognisably itself. In that sector, during that period, that was never guaranteed.
